Tim

Tim Daniel records music in his San Francisco bedroom studio, often collaborating with musicians in the flesh or on the web. Formally trained on the saxophone he gave that up after high school to do improvisational keyboards with friends in bands such as Imagery Flux, Turtle Soup, and the legendary Imaginary Ducks. Following this Tim went solo, first as "the concentration pillow" then made some techno music as a joke and found out it was actually good under "Ocifer Peacepipe." Tim collaborated with many musicians on mp3 sites in the late 90s including 24 songs with bruce satinover plus some remixes under the "band 20" moniker and "you suffer" remix project. A born guitar player who can't contort his wrists about a fretboard he has won the heart of bass players who wondered how he managed complex 30/8 bass lines on studio recordings. To which Tim says "meh ... it's a fretboard. There's more than one way to tackle it. I chose a lap dance." He's since accumulated more than a dozen saxophones, most of which he plays now and then. Tim is currently in love with the Nord Electro which treats him better than any woman ever has lately. He is looking to take to writing a novel to rid himself of his excessive sarcastic cynicism. Meanwhile he finds "strumming triplets" are a satisfying release for anxiety and tension.
